Explore the Queer Zine Library Berlin collection at Spinnboden & co-create a community zine by writing fan-mail to a publication that speaks to you! The workshop will be facilitated by zine-maker and DIY archivist Aimé Dabbadie (they/he) from Lost and Found Press.

The workshop will be held in English and assistance in German will be available. 15 participants maximum. Children are welcome. All supplies will be provided.

When: Sunday, November 2nd from 13:00 until 18:00

Following this event, we’ll organize a release party hangout for the participants to get their copy of the zines and the public to come see the result of the workshop (Location & time TBD)

Accessibility infos: The Spinnboden is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest stop is Bernauer Straße underground station (U8), where there is an elevator. The stop is about 300 meters from the archive. The archive is located in the Weiberwirtschaft, a building complex at Anklamer Straße 38, in the 2nd backyard, 3rd staircase, 2nd floor.

[DE] Fanmail4Fanzine-Workshop!

Entdecke die Sammlung der Queer Zine Library Berlin bei Spinnboden und gestalte gemeinsam mit anderen ein Community-Zine, indem du Fanpost an eine Publikation schreibst, die dich anspricht! Der Workshop wird von der Zine-Macher und DIY-Archivar Aimé Dabbadie von Lost and Found Press geleitet.

Der Workshop findet auf Englisch statt, Unterstützung auf Deutsch ist verfügbar. Maximal 15 Teilnehmer*innen. Kinder sind willkommen. Alle Materialien werden gestellt.

Im Anschluss an diese Veranstaltung organisieren wir eine Release-Party, bei der die Teilnehmer*innen ihre Exemplare der Zines erhalten und die Öffentlichkeit die Ergebnisse des Workshops sehen kann (Ort und Zeit werden noch bekannt gegeben).

Informationen zur Barrierefreiheit: Der Spinnboden ist mit ÖPNV gut erreichbar. Die nächste Haltestelle ist der U-Bhf. Bernauer Straße (U8), wo es einen Aufzug gibt.

Die Haltestelle ist ca. 300 Meter vom Archiv entfernt.

Das Archiv befindet sich in der Weiberwirtschaft, einem Gebäudekomplex in der Anklamer Straße 38, im 2. Hinterhof, 3. Aufgang, 2. Stock.

Die Wege im Innenhof sind teils holprig durch Kopfsteinpflaster.

Es gibt eine Klingel unten im Hof und an der Tür des Archivs oben.

Der 2. Stock ist mit einem Aufzug erreichbar (Aufzugstür 99cm breit, Kabine 160 x 170 cm tief).

Der Eingang zum Archiv hat eine 10cm hohe Stufe, dafür steht eine mobile Rampe zur Verfügung (Türbreite 90 cm).

Die Toilette im Archiv ist leider nicht barrierefrei.

Es gibt 700 Meter entfernt eine City-Toilette Brunnenstraße Ecke Stralsunder Straße (Fußgängerzone).
